YA By the Number : a list of YA Number Books

10.03.2019 by Jen Ryland // 8 Comments

After reading 10 Blind Dates, I decided to come up with a list of other YA books that featured numbers. My rule was that the number couldn’t just be in the title, but also had to be a plot feature. Here’s my list of YA number books!

YA Books by the Number

YA Number Books:

52 Reasons to Hate My Father by Jessica Brody – Lexington’s a teen heiress whose dad makes her get a new menial job every week if she wants access to her trust fund.

13 Little Blue Envelopes by Maureen Johnson – Ginny’s aunt sends her on a scavenger hunt across Europe

Ten Things We Did and Probably Shouldn’t Have by Sarah Mylnowski

Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler – Anna’s best friend tells her that twenty days in Zanzibar Bay is the perfect time for a summer fling. But Anna’s hiding a secret.

99 Days by Katie Contugno – Molly has to figure out how to get through all 99 days of summer.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – a heist book with a team of six!

13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher – now controversial for its treatment of mental health and self-harm, but definitely fits the list.

The 100 by Cass Morgan – the show was definitely better, but this book about a hundred teens sent to re-colonize Earth after a nuclear war definitely fits the theme!

7 Clues to Winning You by Kristin Walker – this scavenger hunt-themed book is also a YA romance.

10 Truths and a Dare and also 10 Blind Dates by Ashley Elston.

Have you read any of these and do you have any other suggestions for the list?

This is a great list! I love the show The 100. Still need to watch the last season though. Sighs…

I have 10 Blind Dates on deck, so I should be reading it next week! I still need to read Six of Crows. Everyone is freaking out over the televisions series!

Hope you like 10 Blind Dates. I haven’t read Six of Crows either. I think I’ll wait and see how the show is and maybe just (shh) watch that instead.

I want to read 52 Reasons To Hate My Father. I bought it many moons ago and can’t remember what it’s about until this post. Lol.

Thanks for the reminder!

I actually read a bunch of these. So, obviously, I approve. I know my love for 99 Days puts me in the minority, but gosh darn it, Cotugno does messy so well.
