Today, October 2, is National Name Your Car Day. In honor of such a strange yet special day, I’ve created a special “Name Your Car” themed YA quiz: Match These Cars to Their YA Books
I’ve never named a car, but when I thought about it, an awful lot of YA characters have given nicknames to their beloved (or not so beloved) cars.
In fact, there’s one YA author who (I think) does car nicknames more than any other. Can you guess who it is? If you can, tell me in comments!

Kevin remembers cars and I remember pets lol Whenever we talk about people I’m always saying – the guy with the grey cat….and Kevin has no clue but then counters with – do you mean the one with the red Ford pickup with the (whatever engine)? lol

Lol, my car was christened for me by my colleagues ‘The Red Rocket’. Something to do with the colour, and my driving speed…. XD

I’ve never named a car so I guess I don’t pay much attention to those who do. Hence my quiz score: 3/8. This was fun, though! 🙂

I think my score would have been 0. Since the two of us can rarely remember character names, I’m not surprised that we can’t remember cars.
I suck at this!!! lol I got 2 out of 8. oops my YA reading chops are in serious doubt, I guess. 🙂

I don’t think anyone reading really pays attention to the car. Or its name!
That was fun. It’s amazing how I read most of those books, but did not remember anything about the cars. It was especially prevalent when it came to John Green books.
Right? I didn’t know he was one of the top car-namers in YA…
