Answers to my March Mystery Trivia:
Question 1: Can you name any mysteries that take place around St. Patrick’s Day?
Here are the St Patrick’s Day Mysteries I found. Can you think of any others?

Plum Lucky (Stephanie Plum Mysteries #13.5) by Janet Evanovich
Janet Evanovich is the queen of the comic mystery. In Plum Lucky, a Stephanie Plum holiday novella, a little green man has lost a bag of money. If you love Stephanie Plum, you’ve got to try these comic thrillers!
Cathedral by Nelson DeMille
If you’re looking for a St. Patrick’s Day Mystery that is a little bit more thrilling, Cathedral by Nelson DeMille features an act of terrorism at New York City’s St Patrick’s Cathedral on St. Patrick’s Day.
Irish Eyes (Callahan Garrity Mysteries #8) by Mary Kay Andrews
In this series of mysteries about house cleaner and former cop Callahan Garrity, Callahan gets caught in a holdup on the way from a St. Patrick’s Day party. Can she solve the case?
Question Two: March is “March Madness” time. What book series by a popular mystery writer is about a sports agent?

Answer: Harlan Coben’s Myron Bolivar series features a former basketball player who is now a sports agent. By coincidence, book twelve, Think Twice, comes out in May 2024. Watch for my review!
Question 3: In what 1993 thriller movie (based on a 1960s TV show) did one of the main characters join a St. Patrick’s Day parade to elude the people who are pursuing him?

Answer: The Fugitive, starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones. In the film, Ford’s character Dr. Richard Kimble, escapes from prison and returns to his hometown of Chicago to hunt the man who actually killed his wife. He’s pursued by US Marshal Samuel Gerard, played by Tommy Lee Jones.
Gerard spots Kimble at City Hall and the chase is on. Kimble is lucky that day is St. Patrick’s Day, as he is able to disappear into the crown and avoid being caught.
FUN FACT: This book by Harlan Coben really reminded me of The Fugitive!
Question 4: Can You Name Any Mysteries That Take Place During Mardi Gras?

Devil’s Muse by Bill Loehfelm
NOPD’s toughest female cop meets her match with Mardi Gras murder and mayhem!
Glitter Bomb by Laura Childs
On a vacation in New Orleans, a scrapbooker (and amateur detective) witnesses an exploding Mardi Gras float.
