- Vera Wong’s Guide to Snooping felt a little more chaotic to me, as many characters from book one make an appearance, plus some new ones
- But Vera’s trademark humor is there: her feuding with a neighboring shop owner and constantly being mistaken for wedding dress tycoon Vera Wang.
- Vera is also meddling, such as sticking her nose into a missing persons case, even after Officer Selena tells her to butt out.
- The Vera Wong books are perfect for those who like comic cozies, books like the Finlay Donovan series or Jesse Q. Sutanto’s comic aunties series (Check out Dial A For Aunties, which also has meddling older woman)
