Geese are Never Swans by Eva Clark – a male swimmer trains for the Olympics in this book created by Kobe Bryant.
Girl From Nowhere by Tiffany Rosanhan – a story about a girl who has spent her life on the run.
Last Chance Summer by Shannon Clare – a girl who’s made some questionable choices is sent to work at a camp for troubled kids.

More Than Maybe by Erin Hahn – a charming story of music, family expectations, and first love. Check out my review of More Than Maybe!
River of Dreams by Jan Nash – a girl learns that she and her family are actually Dreamwalkers.
Shielded by KayLynn Flanders – fantasy about a princess fighting to save her kingdom.
Splinters of Scarlet by Emily Bain Murphy – a girl uses magic to get a job in a wealthy household.

The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson – I’m not sure this is technically YA, but it’s a great crosssover read for fans of books with themes of witchcraft and feminism. Read my review of The Year of the Witching here!

Yay Splinters of Scarlet is out! I loved the author’s debut so I’m excited to read this. I feel like it’s been a fairly quiet release though.
What’s this new commenting plugin you’re using?
I feel like a LOT of books aren’t getting much publicity. I guess the pandemic?
