Group Halloween Costumes Based on The Tiger King on Netflix
The Tiger King presents an awesome opportunity for a really fun group (or couples) Halloween costume. Gather your friends, pick your favorite person from the show, and get digging into your closet. I’ll include a few picks of $20 or less items that you could buy to really get into character.
Joe Exotic: I am ALL ABOUT Joe’s 1980’s glam sensibility. He looks like he’s a Siegfrid and Roy fan for sure. To dress like Joe, shop your closet for sequins, gold chains, and mirrored sunglasses. Add some facial hair.

Usually pre-made costumes run around $40 and up, but Amazon has some AMAZING cheap Joe Exotic costumes. This one is less than $20 and comes with a wig, a mustache, and a bunch of earrings. All you need to add is a animal print/sequined/bright shirt and maybe a bling gold chain.

Carole Baskin: Carole has a flower child meets animal print aesthetic. Dig around in your closet and find that old music festival flower crown (RIP) and some flowy animal prints in any color of the rainbow. Add a blond wig if you like!

If you are willing to spend $30 and look exactly like the Carole picture on the left, you can buy the Carole costume here. But if you don’t want to spend that much for a costume, you can raid your closet (or your mom’s or grandma’s) or go thrifting.
Pair your shirt of choice with a $4 flower crown or maybe add this $9 blonde wig. I love a good wig!
Doc Antle: Shop your closet for any and all safari-style items and add this budget-friendly safari hat. And hoop earrings. All these guys seem to love them.

Jeff Lowe: Jeff never met a logo he didn’t love. Put mirrored sunglasses on top of a trucker cap and layer a bandanna under it. Here are my picks for a $7 trucker hat and a $5 bandanna. Add a blinged out watch, and any other logo items you have. More is More when it comes to Jeff.

John Finlay – this guy does not seem to own a shirt. If you have a lot of tattoos, you’re good to go. If not, put on some temporary tribal ones for $8 and throw on a $5 gold chain. Leave a lot of shirt buttons open to show it all off.

The Tiger – A Tiger King needs a tiger! For a fun couples costume, you could just be Joe (or Carole) and a tiger. The cheapest tiger costume option is just to buy a plush tiger ears and a tail for around $6 but if you’re willing to spend a little more, you can get a giant tiger snuggie for $30. It’s actually pretty cute! Or grab this $13 tiger t-shirt that comes in a ton of sizes.

Group Halloween Costumes Based on the Baby-Sitter’s Club on Netflix
The Baby-Sitters Club on Netflix could inspire an adorable group Halloween costume! Just match your friends to the babysitter who best fits their style and everyone can shop their own closet.

Kristy just throws on jeans and a baseball cap, Claudia loves daring mixed prints and dramatic earrings, Stacey sticks to fashionable black, Mary Anne can’t get enough of overalls and jumpers, and Dawn loves her boho chic.
You can carry this vintage landline around with you for $13.

Group or Couples Halloween Costumes Based on Cobra Kai on Netflix

Cobra Kai, a popular new show on Netflix (inspired by the Karate Kid) would make a fun Halloween costume for a couple, a group or even a family. For A couple, you could be Johnny and Daniel, but if you have a group or family, just bring along all the members of your dojo. Karategi are expensive, so unless you have a friend willing to lend (or want to take up martial arts) just wear loose white or black pants and a matching t-shirt and add one of these hachimaki:

This white and black one for $13.
Couples Halloween Costume Based on Euphoria on HBO and Hulu
You could easily do a Euphoria group Halloween costume, but I’m going to focus on a couples costume featuring Rue and Jules:

Rue is pretty easy. Just grab a tie-dye tee and a maroon hoodie. This tie-dye shirt is only $9 and comes in a lot of sizes. This maroon hoodie is under $20 and you’ll actually wear it afterwards. For Jules, you could do a white outfit with $18 angel wings, or a patterned shirt or jacket and those eyelashes!
Okay so what if you’re Halloweening solo? Joe Exotic or Carole Baskin are still great solo choices, but here’s one more:
Halloween Costume Ideas Based on Taylor Swift’s Folklore

Closet staples for Taylor’s look: a lace top, a slouchy white sweater and gauzy skirt. I am OBSESSED with this lace top and also this gorgeous one. I’d wear both in real life! Or use your own white sweater and pair it with this flowy white maxi skirt. This skirt is super-pretty too! Here’s a super cute slouchy sweater for under $20!
