I had a busier summer than I expected and my reading stats are not what I hoped, but I’m getting back on track.

Goodbye summer 2019 and hello to fall!
Yeah. I can’t believe the kids are going back to school next week! It felt like the school year just ended. I had a crappy Summer on account of I was plagued with injuries and illnesses. I’m actually home right now nursing a flu — again. *sigh*

Oh, I’m so sorry bout that. I’ve had years when I was just sick constantly. I think it was when I had young kids and would just catch everything!
My summer reading didn’t go all that well. I love to read outside on the weekends in the warm weather, but there weren’t that many really hot, sunny Saturdays and Sundays here this year for some reason, so that wasn’t great, but I did get in a few books I liked, a few older Sarah Dessen titles.
Aw, that’s too bad. We had really nice weather at the beginning of the summer, then really hot weather (too hot to read outside) and then now we’re back to nice…
