Recently I’ve been trying to support small businesses as much as I can and have recently expanded my project to learning about and supporting Black owned bookstores in my book buying.
Here’s my list of Black owned bookstores by state – I had it on the bottom of this post but it got so long that I made it its own page!
I also have a list of some Black owned bookstores on Twitter if you want to follow them! If the store has a website I could find, I have linked to it.
I didn’t realize Again Again comes out this week. Gonna take note to grab a copy when I drop by the bookstore at some point.

I didn’t realise Patrick Ness’s new book was out! I hear there are dragons which is the only reason I want to read. I’ve seen a lot of good stuff about You Should See Me In A Crown and A Song of Wraiths and Ruin so I will definitely need to get buying those.
I didn’t know his book was about dragons – I guess the cover should have been a clue! Definitely want to read You Should See me in a Crown!!
