Jen’s Quick Take on I Would Die for You

- This multi-POV book with a past present narrative isn’t really a mystery or thriller, though it does have some suspense elements.
- I Would Die for You is also an exploration of fandom, focused on the 1980s British band
- Reader’s opinions on Goodreads have been fairly harsh, with criticisms of the narrative structure, flat characters and strange ending (which we will discuss under spoiler protection below!)
- I found the lengthy withholding of information frustrating but
- I did enjoy the 1980s flashbacks

Well? What did you think? Is your take on the book different than mine?
I did like the fandom element of I Would Die for You, but agree that it was a super-confusing story that didn’t make a lot of sense at times.
