Killer Potential by Hannah Deitch
I listened to this as a LibroFM audiobook. I wouldn’t call this a traditional mystery or thriller, but it does start with a murder. It says a lot about female rage and how women are portrayed in the media.
If you like the vibe of authors like Emma Cline and Megan Abbott, give it a try!
Haunting of Room 904 by Erika Wurth
Friends Helping Friends by Patrick Hoffman

First Wife’s Shadow by Adele Parks
I enjoyed this one! Review to come very soon!

Pomona Afton Can So Solve a Murder by Bellamy Rose
Soooo…. this is a cute cozy mystery with a flirty sort of romance. I didn’t LOVE it but it was a fun quick read. My Goodreads review is here!

Saltwater by Katy Hays
I just finished this one – it is fairly slow paced with all the action at the end, but makes a great addition to my list of Books For Fans of Succession.
My Readers Guide to Salt Water is coming soon!
Nowhere by Allison Gunn
I heard from a trusted reader friend that this leans toward horror, so I’m putting it on the back burner for now. Have YOU read it? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!

This Book Will Bury Me by Ashley Winstead
This one is drawing some controversy and I can’t wait to discuss it with you! Here’s my Readers Guide to This Book will Bury Me!

I Would Die for You by Sandie Jones
I LOVED The Guilt Trip so I was excited for this one.
And… it was weird. I explain it all here on my Readers Guide for I Would Die For You! With spoilers, so you can see what I mean!

The Unlucky Ones by Hannah Morrissey
Content note: these are dark book and there are two mentions of animal cruelty in The Unlucky Ones BUT Rocket the Golden Retriever is FINE.
- I reviewed most of the prior books in the Black Harbor series: Hello, Transcriber (2021), The Widowmaker (2022), When I’m Dead (2023).

The Savage, Noble Death of Babs Dionne by Ron Currie
Gothictown by Emily Carpenter
The Retreat by Krysten Ritter
The Other People by C.B. Everett
Sadly, this was a DNF for me. I didn’t make it to the big twist, and am curious what it is?!?!?
