I had a busier summer than I expected and my reading stats are not what I hoped, but I’m getting back on track.

Welcome to this week’s Freebie Friday giveaway: The Epic Crush of Genie Lo

I’ve started reading this, and it’s a funny, action-packed book that draws on Chinese folklore. So far, I’ve met Sun Wukong (otherwise known as The Monkey King) and Hunshimowang (The Demon King of Confusion).  Genie Lo, sarcastic high school student, reminds me of a 2017 Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I’m really loving the book so far!
